Refreshing Courses

Our Refresher Course Program is for those individuals seeking to refresh their skills, or for those that are required to complete hours per the State Board of Cosmetology to obtain a license. The Brush-up course is designed for those of you who have taken a break from the salon environment and need to freshen up on your skills. Our program is highly individualized, first, the student’s skills are evaluated; and then, a personalized curriculum is developed to address any areas of weakness.

OTHER REASONS YOU MAY NEED THE REFRESHER COURSE:

  • You have finished one of the programs but did not receive your license within 2 years.

  • Your license has expired for a lengthy amount of time.

  • You have failed the written or practical exam 3 times.

 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

 This course is highly recommended for those of you who have taken a break from the beauty industry and would like to have a refresher course. This course is also intended for students who were unable to pass their state board exam for any reason and would like to focus on a specific area they still may be having trouble in.

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

This short program is for those that are not yet confident enough to go work as a hairstylist and/or are required per the State Board of Cosmetology to complete some extra training. It enables them to return to school to practice their skills and enhance their techniques.
