The Student Instructor program of study is related to the teaching of all the subjects contained in all of our beauty school educational programs. The participant will learn basic teaching methodology, and how to perform all the activities normally accomplished by a school Instructor in the different departments of a post-secondary school dedicated to teaching Cosmetology. This course can enhance the abilities of a professional who wishes to teach any subject in the Cosmetology industry effectively.

At Dreamer's School of Cosmetology our teacher training program can be compared to any institute. We have a rigorous and creative curriculum to extend  continued education to ambitious and goal driven cosmetology professionals who desire teaching as a career.

As a student instructor at Dreamer's we train our future instructors to dig deep to discover the central strength of their attained knowledge in the beauty industry. We desire for our students to learn our curriculum and incorporate it with their ability to teach.  As potential instructors become a part of our culture, they will learn that we encourage the use of imagination or original ideas to help them prepare their own future in the beauty industry.

To qualify for this program you must be a licensed Cosmetologist, or Barber and have 2 years experience within the industry.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

To prepare beauty industry Professionals to teach courses in the Cosmetology, Full Specialist, or Barber in an effective manner. The curriculum is based on as many hours of theory and practical instruction as each subject requires in order for the student to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills. It also includes the designated hours for clinical experience necessary to acquire the skills and the experience to perform effective teaching and lesson planning.
